The forgotten silence of nature’s song

Lives between the dusk and dawn

Across tranquil waters and azure skies

As day surrenders and the moon she’ll rise

Even in the shadows

The hidden light remains

Dancing in the sleeping forest

As daylight softly wanes

The forest fades to silence

As the daylight she clings

And whispers her song into the night

For it’s silence that sings

The woods whispered softly,’ all is one not asunder’

Bathe us in the glow of your deep breath wonder

‘Light your fires’, she declared, ‘and transcend fading light’

For yesterday was dawn, today is night

Overlooking a frosty Lake Banook.
